We enjoyed the Bräuerei connected to it so much, we stayed at the hotel again on our way back through the Köln. Probably will stay there again in the future. :-) The Mühlenkräuten Schnapps tastes delicious! Location near Altstadt and the Rhine is perfect. Parking is pay only, in the parking structure through the Heumarkt.

I must say that I was not wrong, I chose an amazing, excellent, clean, quiet, romantic hotel in an amazing location, very close to all the attractions in the city. Very close to the river, the restaurant and bar area, to Conissala Street. And in particular, very close to the carnival parade. After many years of staying in dozens of hotels around the world, the Hotel de Medici is one of the best, clean, luxurious, quiet and romantic hotels I have stayed in. Beyond all this, the value for money is excellent. The price is fair and very reasonable for the carnival period. The staff at the amazing hotel is helpful and very kind and polite. The roof terrace offers a cozy atmosphere where our bar team presents handmade cocktails and delectable tarte flambée. I enoyed all aspects of the hotel. I also received an upgrade to a deluxe room which was nice. The bathroom facilities were excellent and the breakfast room and spread was outstanding. The front office team & concierge were top notch too.
