The breakfast, taken on the balcony overlooking the estuary, was well beyond expectations with individual trays of fruits, meats and pastries served to each table. Our room was at the back of the property, hence no view of the estuary, and only a limited view of the rear garden. However, the bed was extremely comfortable and the room very clean.

The owner has sensitively restored the old stone building, retaining its ancient stonework and restoring exposed and time-blackened wooden beams. The guest rooms are simply but comfortably decorated, each with a small private bathroom with shower. Beautiful, intricate boutique hotel with a lot of character. Almost perfect location while being peacefully quiet at night. Wonderful breakfast included. Friendly proprietor.
