The building is full of history and the glass floor is amazing! Honestly the cleanest place we’ve ever stayed! The bath in the bedroom was a delight, very romantic place to stay. Bonus being it’s about an hour and a bit drive from Santander and Bilbao ports! Definitely hoping to return one day.

Friday and saturday there is some noise, but it is normal if you like to stay in the real city center.

The rooms at the Hospedería Palacio de Casafuerte feature charming, traditional décor. Each one comes with free Wi-Fi, flat-screen satellite TV and an iPod docking station. The house: it is historical, fantastically beautiful, and kept in a superb condition. The room was amazing. We dined in a restaurant of the same building, and it was the best steak in our lives. Breakfast was very good too. Definitely would return, if we travel again in this area.
