Housed in a converted prison from 1837, this atmospheric hotel is found on Katajanokka Island in central Helsinki. Uspenski Cathedral is a 10-minute walk away, while Helsinki Cathedral is found within 15 minutes' walk. Enjoyed the stay. Very unique experience. Food can be improved and add some variety in the breakfast. But it was still decent generous breakfast. Currently they have in Finnish, English and French food options in the breakfast. Room, bed and facilities are great. Very quite space. We choose to try the bath tub as it was a cold weekend in Helsinki. It was good but getting in and out can be dangerous/hard for some people especially old people. But over all experience was great. I would recommend anyone to go stay here. Also it is in walkable distance to the sea side where you can walk and relax.

It offers self-catering accommodation with classic décor, a kitchenette and private bathroom. WiFi and parking are free. The flats are designed very tastefully, with an artist touch. This makes the stay very enjoyable. The house is has historic value (a previous school) and is located on the defense line (during II Word War) against Soviet Union. Thus there is historic spots to see.

Pariisin Ville's individually decorated rooms have a living room with a sofa, separate from the bedroom. Some rooms also feature a sauna. Personal breakfast right outside the room. Staff asked for a hot beverage request - coffee, tea, green tea - and brought a full kettle to the table. Overnight porridge was very tasty. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Rooms nice and cool with a personal air conditioner for the room.

Sörnäisten Metro Station is just a 3-minute walk away. The stafff. They did it again. If you have good staff like here then your stay will be a pleasure. They go out off there way to help you. Just ask and they will help you with everything! SUPER stafff. Nice kitchen and many cock there own food here. Me to. Nice dinning-tabel and nice sitting area where you can hang out and talk to everybody else. They have a sauna!!!! You have to pay extra, but it's there!! 1 minute to the supermarket and a few minutes and you have a number of supermarkets. I took the bus when I left. 2 minuts walk and then directly to the airport. Ask reception how to get a ticket. City-center is about 15-20 minutes walk from the hostel so it's easy.
