Housed in a converted prison from 1837, this atmospheric hotel is found on Katajanokka Island in central Helsinki. Uspenski Cathedral is a 10-minute walk away, while Helsinki Cathedral is found within 15 minutes' walk. We get a room upgrade, the bed was that good, i never had better sleep in my life. The food was amazing, breakfast, dinner and even afternoon tea with cake in price. 10/10 will return :))

Salpalinjan Hovi is set in a charming, renovated school building, 10 minutes’ drive from Lappeenranta city centre. It offers self-catering accommodation with classic décor, a kitchenette and private bathroom. WiFi and parking are free. Only few minutes by car from the center of Lappeenranta, quiet neighborhood, perfect for a rest. The house is beautifully renovated, has a unique charm. The breakfast was fabulous, plentiful. We will be back for a longer stay!

Pariisin Ville's individually decorated rooms have a living room with a sofa, separate from the bedroom. Some rooms also feature a sauna. Personal breakfast right outside the room. Staff asked for a hot beverage request - coffee, tea, green tea - and brought a full kettle to the table. Overnight porridge was very tasty. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Rooms nice and cool with a personal air conditioner for the room.

Sörnäisten Metro Station is just a 3-minute walk away. Just a short layover between two flights, but had a great time at the hostel. Cosy and convenient. I forgot my passport when I checked out very early, but the staff managed to send it to my home address. Thanks a lot for that!
