Chateau de Picomtal is set in a renovated 14th to 16th century castle overlooking the Serre-Ponçon lake, in the Hautes-Alpes. It has a floral garden and courtyard, and offers en-suite accommodation with free WiFi access. We had the most wonderful time staying in the Chateau. The Chateau has been restored and shows off stunning views and beautiful grounds and garden. The interior is simply beautiful. Our room was very comfortable and restored to a very high standard. The surrounding area is so incredibly beautiful. We had wonderful meals at a restaurant close by. This stay was probably one of the highlights of our 7 week trip around France.

Located on a pedestrian street in the heart of Chambéry, this hotel is just 100 metres from the Château des Ducs de Savoie Castle. It offers suites with a contemporary decor and free Wi-Fi.

Each soundproofed suite is uniquely designed at the Petit Hotel Confidentiel and is equipped with air conditioning and satellite channels on a flat-screen TV. Bathrobes and slippers are provided. Even before our arrival, the team at Petit Hôtel Confidentiel impressed us with their attention to detail. They carefully considered our wishes for the stay, and on the very day of our arrival, the receptionist personally contacted us to confirm our arrival time — a thoughtful gesture that immediately set the tone for what was to come. From that moment on, our large family was treated with an extraordinary level of attention that truly set our stay apart. Despite traveling as a big group, we never felt like “just another reservation” — the staff anticipated our needs and took care of every single detail as if they knew us personally. Their personalized service felt like something out of a dream: seamless room service that turned our evenings into cozy, candlelit moments, perfectly presented with glassware and cloches; attentive concierge support that helped craft delightful outings and surprises for our kids; and thoughtful room setup that made every one of us feel seen and valued. It was this heartfelt, family-centered approach that turned our trip into something memorable. The hotel’s amenities elevated our experience further: relaxing swims in the indoor pool, rejuvenation in the steam room and sauna, indulgent moments in the SpaSuite, and invigorating visits to the fitness studio — all crafted with care and accessible at just the right times for our family’s rhythm. What impressed us most was how the staff seemingly anticipated small wishes before we even voiced them — a fresh snack for the little ones, a seamlessly arranged transfer, or a timely surprise that made the children’s faces light up. It’s rare to find a place where every interaction feels genuine and warm, and Petit Hôtel Confidentiel is firmly in that category. To the entire team: thank you for turning our family getaway into a deeply considerate, beautifully curated experience. Your commitment to exceptional service and heartfelt care made our stay not just luxurious, but truly unforgettable.

This chalet sits below the famous ski area of the Grands Montets and at the starting point for a range of hiking trails. Its spacious rooms (some with mezzanines for families) have a view of Mont-Blanc or the Glacier of Argentière. Amazing service from friendly staff at all times (check in, use of sauna in the morning, check out, luggage storage). One of them helped with luggage up to our rooms seeing as we were knackered from hiking on check in, even though he didn't have to. Pool, sauna and steam room were clean and very relaxing. Great view from the room as well. Cozy bar and lounge space with sofas and a view. Our room had all the amenities you would expect in perfect condition (mini fridge, kettle, clean bath robe & towels, TV with English channels, etc).

In the heart of the market town of Morzine, in a garden with a heated, outdoor pool, this hotel proposes a bar, terrace and sauna. Decorated mainly in wood, it offers free parking and rooms with free Wi-Fi. Our stay at the Beveleire Hotel was truly remarkable, largely due to the extraordinary assistance provided by Eric and his family. Their readiness to help at every turn made our experience not just comfortable, but truly special. I recommend this hotel enough for those who value genuine care and support during their travels, the room and food is wonderful too. Thanks again 👏👏👏

Loved it all, staff went above and beyond
