Located in the centre of Bayeux, the Domaine de Bayeux is set in an 18th century house featuring a tree-lined park. There are guest rooms in the main building and a further 11 air-conditioned designer bedrooms available in the extension of the orchard, each with private terrace or balcony. This is a stunning property! We stayed in the Orchard rooms that are on the property but not in the main house. The website pictures are totally accurate and even better in person! The grounds are gorgeous! The young ladies at reception were very welcoming and helpful! The location is within walking distance of sites you would want to visit and Normandy beaches are within easy driving distance. We would stay here again and not hesitate in recommending this property!

A sauna and a hot tub are available on site at an extra cost. House was perfectly located by all the sites. Room was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious.

Offering views of the garden, all flats are located upstairs and they have a seating area and private bathroom (except for the studio which included only a shower). All include a flat-screen TV. Villa Lara is a small luxury boutique hotel in the historic centre of Bayeux. It faces the 11th-century cathedral is is just a 2-minute walk from the Bayeux Tapestry.

The luxury accommodation features period-style furniture, a flat-screen TV and a minibar. They have an individual colour theme using neutral tones and printed fabrics. Each has a private bathroom with a marble floor, bathrobes and slippers. The location of Villa Lara was perfect! There were several restaurants and historic landmarks within easy walking distance. The staff was incredible. The owner took us on a tour of the city which was the highlight of our trip. The hotel is also in a perfect location to meet tour companies for the Normandy WWII tours. Outstanding stay!

Wonderful property. I didn't expect such a unique room. Second floor above a garden area. Beautiful village and easy walk to the beach and the Canadian Juno Beach Museum. A very worthwhile experience.

Free Wi-Fi access is provided in each soundproofed room. All rooms are light and spacious and have their own bathroom with a hairdryer. Gorgeous hotel right in the heart of everything. Everything was lovely and the staff were helpful, you can book a car park right in the courtyard of the hotel for a fee which we didn’t mind paying for the convenience.
