Our room was clean, comfortable and featured a beautiful Japanese inspired decor with a lovely jade green colour scheme that was most pleasing to the eye. Breakfast was fabulous - in addition to a continental breakfast buffet with a hearty spread of cereals, pastries and toast, there were four cooked breakfast options. We tried all 4 options over 2 days and found each one delicious. For those seated outdoors, there is a glorious unblocked view of the castle - little wonder that this is known as "Castle View Restaurant"! The best thing of our stay however, was that it was inclusive of admission to the gorgeous Leeds Castle - we devoted an entire day to exploring the main castle building and its sprawling grounds, and enjoying the various activities it had to offer. Overall, our stay was great value for money and I would highly recommend this to anyone!

In the private and peaceful grounds of Canterbury Cathedral, this stylish lodge offers free Wi-Fi, hearty breakfasts and scenic views. Canterbury’s historic centre is a 2-minute walk away. Our stay at the Cathedral Lodge was a very special one, its location so close to the Cathedral is amazing. The bedroom was very suitable & we loved having breakfast in the Refectory. All staff were most accommodating.

10to12 is a traditional Victorian property located in the port town of Folkestone, 6 minutes’ walk from spacious green parkland with a picnic area and sandy beach. The staff was extremely lovely, friendly and helpful. The place is so whimsically decorated it puts a smile on your face, with such a chill and cool vibe. Wonderfully located with a pub right next to it, a cocktail bar on the opposite side of the road and many restaurants in walking distance. We didn't get to spend much time in Folkestone but it seems like a very cool and interesting town. We were mostly disappointed we only had one night there and would LOVE to come back.

On the border of Kent and East Sussex, The Queen’s Inn in Hawkhurst offers luxurious rooms alongside its high-quality restaurant and bar. Very good range of breakfast options (smoked haddock with perfectly poached eggs, full English, scrambled eggs with smoked salmon, whole kippers, fresh fruit salad), good range of food served in the bar, where highlights included rhubarb and ginger creme brulee, sea trout and a range of pizzas, meat and vegan options. Great Irish coffee too. Excellent location for exploring Bodiam Castle, Sissinghurst and Scotney Castle. Tesco's supermarket is right next door. Off-street parking. Comfortable beds. Tasty brownies in the room.

The breakfast each morning was amazing, and Peter went out of his way to make sure there were plenty of kid friendly options for our girls. Staying here exceeded every expectation I had! The room was beautiful and there was PLENTY of space and beds for our family of 4. The location is also so great! It was a VERY short walk from the main part of town, and we really enjoyed the short walk each day. Our kids (6 and 8) could easily make the walk all around without complaining.

Stayed here for 2 days to attend a local wedding. Couldn’t have been nicer. The food was great, staff lovely, rooms comfortable. The cookies they put in your rooms are also delicious and such a nice touch.
