Set on a pedestrian street in a historic location, the family-run Ethrion is 150 metres from Ermoupolis Port and the main square. Staff are super friendly (and guided us to the most splendid restaurants), location was perfect and amenities and facilities were superb. The view from the balcony was extraordinary!! Looooved this place!

Built in 1843, the Neoclassical Hotel Aktaion Syros is located right on the port of Ermoupolis, within walking distance of the town’s historical centre. Excellent location. Very clean and the staff was always very helpful with a smile on their face. We will surely come back on our next visit.

This little gem is under new management and the new proprietors Konstantina and Harold are the heart of the undertaking. Their open friendliness and genuine passion about the place make all the difference. Always helpful with the best tips for the island and more. The breakfast with fresh and local produce with delicious baked goods by Harold was another highlight. Our room had a fantastic view taking in the whole bay and the comfortable bed was heaven after days of busy exploring. The little fishing town was one of the loveliest on the island, a very good base from where to venture out. A rooftop terrace for a sundowner and the beach across the street made it a very relaxed spot for a very comfortable stay indeed. We wish them all the luck for many more successful seasons to come!
