Built in 1843, the Neoclassical Hotel Aktaion Syros is located right on the port of Ermoupolis, within walking distance of the town’s historical centre. Full marks and bravo to owners and staff of Aktaion hotel! Location was superb right on the waterfront of Ermoupolis many rooms enjoy unlimited sea views of bay and the hills above making it a postcard perfect location. This is a very historic aristocratic mansion kept in excellent condition a perfect blend of traditional style with modern facilities and comforts. Professional staff very knowledgeable with spot on recommendations for sightseeing restaurants and more, truly every advise was with no doubt excellent! Breakfast was very generous, very tasty large portions and great variety of choices. Excellent location service and atmosphere will be back for sure! The top shared balcony is postcard perfect ! Thank you Aktaion hotel for a perfect stay !

Highlights: Personalized Welcome: Alexis, the owner, personally greeted us and took the time to explain all about the island. This personal touch made us feel incredibly welcome and set the tone for a great stay. Exceptional Staff: Dimitris was extremely helpful throughout our stay. The staff's dedication to their work was evident in every interaction, making our experience smooth and enjoyable. Delicious Breakfast: A special mention goes to their homemade and locally produced breakfast. The fresh and tasty offerings each morning were a delightful start to our days. Overall, the commitment to guest satisfaction and the quality of service at this hotel made our stay memorable. Highly recommended!

The host, Christof, is very friendly and helpful. The location is at a prime location, easy to move around the city, and the view from our balcony was excellent; we could see the Church of Nicholas from there. The room was very clean and tidy, with a very artistic design. The host also gave us good recommendations regarding restaurants, tourist attractions and taxi transfers, we really enjoyed our stay there. We have no trouble doing laundry in the premises (after our long journey in Europe); Christof is very helpful and understanding in this. We highly recommend this hotel. The place is beautiful, and tastefully decorated, the breakfast was really good and the bathing platform takes the entire staying to another level. The location is the best in Ermopoli. I ll be back.
