Enjoying a seafront position and offering a restaurant boasting sea views, Design Hotel Royal is located in the centre of Opatija, steps away from Angiolina Park. Its elegant rooms are decorated with design furniture and provide air conditioning and free WiFi. Everything was excellent from the staff calling a few weeks beforehand to see if there was a special occasion to the Prosecco on arrival as we had gotten married that day.

Built in 2013 and situated in front of a beach, the Bevanda Hotel & Restaurant - Unique Adriatic offers luxurious rooms with free Wi-Fi and spacious furnished terraces overlooking the sea. It comprises an on-site gourmet restaurant with a selection of over 600 wines and champagnes. We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Bevanda in Opatija. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The location is simply stunning, offering breathtaking views of the Adriatic Sea — it truly made our stay unforgettable. The staff were outstandingly friendly, professional, and helpful, always going out of their way to make us feel welcome and well taken care of. The hotel restaurant was another highlight, offering an exceptional breakfast and dining experience with delicious food, a great atmosphere, and those same beautiful sea views. Everything about this hotel - from the room to the service - was flawless. We couldn’t think of a single thing that didn’t exceed our expectations. If you’re looking for a luxurious and memorable stay in Opatija, Bevanda is the perfect choice.

Located 900 metres from the centre of Lovran and just 20 metres from the nearest beach, Hotel Villa Astra is set in a quiet area, next to the 15-km long seaside promenade and consists of a main building and an annex. Buffet breakfast is available on site, as well as a Wellness Area. Free parking and free Wi-Fi are offered. You arrive in paradise: gorgeous Mediterranean villa surrounded by beautiful trees and flowers! The owner and staff are very welcoming. We spent time on the terrace where we also had a wonderful breakfast the next day. Our room was very spacious and clean with balcony overlooking the property and a window with a sea view. From the terrace you walk out on the private beach and can stroll for 10 min into the town center along the water. Everything about Villa Astra is perfect! We are very impressed! Would love to come back!

Built in 1909 by a Viennese entrepreneur Anton Urm, this hotel has hosted numerous aristocratic guests, including the Austrian-Hungarian emperor Franz Joseph. It was rebuilt almost 80 years later, with attention to its original design and preserving a romantic atmosphere. Value for money, great brekfast and good food, incredible views

Completely renovated in 2020 and housed in an Austro-Hungarian villa dating back to 1886, this 5-star hotel is situated amid a well-groomed St. Jacob Park in the centre of Opatija. Free Wi-Fi access is available throughout the property and the Slatina Beach is just 100 metres away. We had an absolutely delightful stay at Hotel St. Jakob in Opatija. The location could not be more perfect—right in the heart of the town, surrounded by beautiful parks and just steps from the sea. The hotel itself has a charming, historic character combined with modern comfort, making it both elegant and cozy. The staff were exceptionally kind and attentive, always ready with a smile and helpful recommendations that made our time in Opatija even more enjoyable. The room was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared. We are very thankful for the warm hospitality, the welcoming atmosphere and the thoughtful gift we received there. St. Jakob truly made us feel at home and added so much joy to our trip. We would happily return and recommend it to anyone visiting Opatija.

You can also benefit from the safes in the rooms and the 24-hour room service. - our host - committed, friendly,, helpful, kind, made us feel "at home" - the Villa - very clean, well located, near the sea and close to Lovran centre (where the restaurants are) - the triple room - was actually a two room apartment, full of sun in the morning, in the shadow starting early afternoon - the sea (water) - as always in Croatia, crystal clear

Only 50 metres from the beach and the 12-km long seaside promenade, Villa Eugenia is located in the centre of the mediaeval Lovran, on the Opatija Riviera.

Built in 1910 in the Secessionist style, the villa consists of accommodation units with air conditioning, internet connection, a TV, minibar and a safe. A private bathroom with a shower and free toiletries is also provided in each unit. Some room types feature a balcony and sea view. The hotel is nice, with a suitable location near the center of Lovren and close to Opatija. Both places offer nice seaside and street walks, restaurants and shops, with Lovren being a bit more authentic. The hotel is renovated with good facilities. The staff is very friendly and nice, ready to crack a joke or just chat. The mansard room was unexpectedly great, with blinds stretching over a large portion of the room and making it beautifully bright and sky open - great design. The view was stunning, covering both the entire Kvarner bay and the interior. The breakfast was excellent, offering one of the best choices of fruits, cheeses, breads, pastries, drinks, etc. with lots of vegetarian options.

Milenij blends the spirit of the historic tradition with contemporary design and decorations. Rooms are air-conditioned and come with a satellite TV and a minibar. Modern-style bathrooms include a hairdryer and free toiletries. We traveled the world, but this hotel is one of the best we ever were. Extremely nice staff, very cosy and comfy rooms, beautiful breakfast room, good location- everything is on point!

Featuring a wellness & spa centre, the newly renovated Hotel Bellevue - Liburnia is housed in a beautiful Empire-style building, as one of the oldest hotel it is considered a local landmark. Ideally set along the main street facing the sea, it offers free Wi-Fi and an à-la-carte restaurant. I LOVED the huge balcony doors and my sea view room :) The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful.
