On the shores of Killary Harbour lies Ireland's oldest coaching inn. Dating from 1796, you'll find traditional home cooking, antique furniture and the most spectacular views in Ireland. The room was kind of a perfect little room, comfortable bed, and had a small balcony that looked out over the water and mountains in Connemara. Beautiful! Had an actual hot-breakfast included in the booking which was terrific. Very happy with the booking.

The Stop is 5 minutes’ walk from the centre of Galway and half a mile from the coast. This 1930s property offers stylish rooms and a contemporary feel throughout, complemented by modern art work. Excellent location, slightly away from all the hussle and bustle. Room small but perfectly formed! Staff very, very friendly and welcoming, knowledgeable about the area, made great recommendations for restaurants, bars, etc.. Wide range of healthy option breakfast choices. Really appreciated the larder area with drinks and sweet snacks, always available. Would highly recommend.
