We had a great time there and liked everything about it. The house is lovely furnished, the room we had was cosy and had all we needed (and more). The breakfast is delicious and prepared with love. If you are not sure what to do or search for ideas i would recommend a chat with the host. He is open to give great advice and tips for trips, restaurants and more! Set in 3 acres of gardens, Grove House is located in the medieval village of Carlingford, County Louth. It offers a choice of breakfasts from the menu, free Wi-Fi and free parking. This property is amazing! Wendy (the host) was lovely, very professional and took a genuine interest in us as guests. Room was very comfortable and homely. The breakfast was incredible - the food was freshly made, including homemade jams and fruit! Location was great and easy walk to town.

We got the room at the very top of the house and it was comfortable and had a window for natural light, a tv with Netflix for the kids, and a coffee station for morning. Breakfast was good and the staff was very accommodating.

Originally built in 1867, this charming town house has been tastefully renovated in a modern style, whilst retaining its historic charm, with stained glass windows and high coved ceilings. Great family run hotel in the centre of the town. Very nicely decorated with great staff always ready to help. We had dinner and breakfast which were exellent 😉 If you are visiting Newgrange, this is good option for overnight stay.

In 12 acres of lush, green gardens The Boyne Valley is an elegant 19th-century mansion on the M1 road to Dublin and less than 30 minutes’ drive from Dublin Airport. It is a beautiful location. The staff members were very welcoming!
