So many stories associated with Belleek Castle. The tour of the castle is excellent and a must if you're staying. The restaurant is very good indeed, the rooms very characterful and all of the staff terrific, particularly Raja. Walking in the woods around is also a delight.

Located next to Ashford Castle, The Lodge at Ashford Castle is set on 10 acres of grounds, overlooking Lough Corrib in Cong. Dating back to 1845, this contemporary country house hotel boasts free WiFi and free parking. Their shuttle service between points on the estate was a wonderful service and greatly appreciated. The Hawk Walk was a very special experience made even better by a warm welcome from Yvonne and by our lovely guide Neamh. The meals at The Lodge and at Cullens on the grounds of the estate were excellent.

Near Westport’s historic Quay district, Boffin Lodge provides brightly furnished rooms with free Wi-Fi and full Irish breakfasts. Westport’s centre is 15 minutes’ walk away, and free parking is available. Boffin Lodge is a great little place a 5 min drive from Westport. Our room had heated floors and the towel rack was heated... a nice touch on a blustery day. The beds were comfy, the staff really helpful and nice, and the included breakfast wonderful. Top notch accommodation for a very reasonable price.

The gym and pool were of a very high standard. Our room was excellent. It was my husband's birthday and they had a special dessert plate sent up to the room. The grounds are awesome too. Very nice hotel room in the center of town with all the available services next to the hotel, including a pub. The breakfast is great with a lot of choices. Westport is a wonderful little town and the Mariner is ideally located in my opinion. The room was modern and comfortable, very modern bathroom. This is a top place.
