Featuring free WiFi, The Gateway Lodge offers accommodation 2 minutes' walk from Donegal town centre. Free private parking is available on site. The rooms are fitted with a flat-screen TV. It was so close to the town. Able to walk in and takes a fee minutes. Staff where lovely. Rooms where spacious and clean.

The Ashe Hotel is a boutique hotel that caters to their guests’ need for relaxation and comfort. We loved the super friendly and helpful staff, the mood, the decent elegance of the hotel. The breakfast was excellent, as far as the dinner. As the hotel is very busy, reservation is recommended, but it worth, because the foods are really tasty ones. In fact we liked everything. However, if you arrive by car, some luck is needed, as the number of parking places are limited.

The room was spotless, with exceptionally comfortable bedding, and the quiet location offered convenient access to the city centre. Offering free parking just 8 minutes’ walk from Galway’s centre, Ash Grove House offers freshly cooked, full Irish breakfasts. I can highly recommend staying here. The owners and staff are very friendly and the room was very nice and cozy. The breakfast was very nice. You have some different options to chose from the day before and then they make it fresh for you in the morning when you come down to the breakfast room. The location is also great. Its about a 12 min walk to the city center and 10 min maximum to the University. There's also a small supermarket and pharmacy close by. I visited in December 2024 and the Christmas spirit in Galway is amazing.

We loved the wonderful warm welcome & breakfast chatter. The rooms are beautiful, newly renovated,clean & the beds & sheets comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, made to order & most of ingredients locally sourced.
