The room had a kitchenette and a fridge. We took breakfast at the terrace on the roof, where we could view the sea. Stefano was a great host, advising us about restaurants and boat trips.

This boutique hotel is in the centre of Ortigia, near Piazza Duomo. It is set in a historic building with high ceilings and stone walls. Each of the 6 rooms is spacious and unique. There is free Wi-Fi in the lobby. Giovanni is a wonderful host, with nothing too much trouble. My room and terrace were large, with great air conditioning. So well located, with everything close by in this stunning part of the world, and his restaurant tips were superb. Great to compare French and Sicilian croissants for breakfast!

The "Amunì Cocktail Bar & Restaurant" serves new and traditional Sicilian recipes. Drinks are served at the bar and can be enjoyed in Piazza Minerva square. Location amazing, rooms lovely and cosy, clean and immaculately finished and finally the staff were incredibly helpful and attentive.
