The Stuffer family are wonderful hosts & very kind. They provided free Val Gardena bus passes which made going to Ortisei centre very easy. They also have the most amazing wellness area free for guests to use with a turkish sauna, scandinavian steam bath, rest area and outdoor jacuzzi directly overlooking the mountains. We will definitely be back

Rooms at Hotel Laurin are fitted with wooden furniture, a private bathroom and an LCD TV with satellite channels. Some rooms overlook the surrounding mountains, and some also have a balcony. The hotel has a great location. It's only a 7 to 10 min walk to the main square. Shops, restaurants and Gondolas are close. Everyone is very welcoming and friendly. We heard them converse in 3 languages Italian, German and English. Our deluxe room was spacious and had a small balcony. The beds were very comfy and we slept well. The breakfast is amazing. Usually, I'm not a big breakfast person but there are so many delicious treats to choose from you want to try it all. We are lactose intolerant and they have a different milk-alternatives to choose from. We enjoyed the sauna and pool area which are a wonderful relaxing way after a long hike. They have a pool table and we'd have played if we'd have more time.

A true luxury spa best utilized by those interested in more than a whirlpool and sauna though those were quite nice. This spa offers all the latest in treatments and exceptional quality food all provided by professional and courteous staff. Our room was spacious and comfortable with beautiful views of the mountains and the villa gardens. Situated a short 30 min walk to Merano’s city center we enjoyed our walks into the city and the surrounding hillside. If I had to be critical I’d say the pool temp could have been 1 degree (C) warmer, the steam sauna could have been steamier and maybe add a cold room to the spa. Two nights was too short.
