Despite arriving later in the evening, the La Malandrina Team kindly greeted us in person, which was a lovely and appreciated gesture. The apartment is just a short walk from Corso Umberto, Taormina’s main street, and being close to the Decò supermarket with its fresh produce and essentials made our stay all the more convenient. Due to the mountainous landscape, there are quite a few stairs in the city — including near the apartment — so it’s good to keep that in mind. Martina could not be more kind and helpful. The breakfasts are spectacular, fresh local produce and changes each day. Amazing sea view from our balcony, and her balcony. Easy free car parking at hand (needed in Taormina). Walk into town about 20 minutes, but uphill. Martina fluent in Italian and German and nearly so in English. Would definitely go again.

She cooked us breakfast each morning. The non-human hosts were so cute (2 dogs and 2 cats) and added a lot of character to the place. The views were also fantastic from the B&B. We liked that we could walk to the nearby town to grab a bite or sit at the beach as well.

Just a 5-minute walk from Taormina's main square, Casa Cuseni, Patrimonio Culturale Immateriale UNESCO is a historical B&B housed in a museum of fine arts declared a national monument. The building and its historic garden were designed by Frank Brangwyn, and are complete with 13 panoramic terraces, 7 fountains, and rare plants. This house and gardens were magical. I didn't quite understand that we would be staying in the actual old mansion, where all the books, artwork and furniture are original, and the owner and staff make you feel like friends. The historical tour of the house by Maria was so interesting, it lead me down of rabbit hole of reading about the artists and people who have lived there. This was a place where artists and writers came to be inspired, and it did the same for me. The view of Mount Etna and the town below are beyond compare.

It offers modern, air-conditioned apartments with a balcony, full cooking facilities and free Wi-Fi. The residence is located right on the main street of Taormina, making it easy to get to everything. The room was clean and well-equipped. Francesco was very friendly and patiently answered all our questions.

This 5-star deluxe hotel with large gardens and an outdoor swimming pool was designed by the famous architect C.R. Ashbee, early member of the Arts and Craft movement. The hotel features a bar and a tea room. Everything was perfect.The staff is amazing. The location is stunning.
