Featuring impressive ocean views and an outdoor swimming pool, Villa Atulya at Ocean's edge is set at the seafront in South Mirissa. The building is an exclusive villa and features colourful rooms with antique furnishings and free Wi-Fi. I should explain that there are 2 Villas with the same name, side by side, with each Villa having 5 rooms. There were 11 of us staying in the Villa, so we 7 rooms booked. This meant that we had one full villa to ourselves and 2 rooms in the adjoining villa. As agreed in advance with the owner, we used the one villa for our food and spend the leisure time there also. The Villa exceeded all our expectations, from the Villa itself, the staff, the food and the customer service. Rooms were exceptional and the staff cooked a fantastic meal for the 11 people on our last night, that had us all wanting to stay longer. The Villa and garden area with the pool were maintained every day and everything was in pristine condition all the time. Breakfast every morning for the 3 days was a feast, with nothing an issue for the kitchen staff. We would all highly recommend this Villa, especially if you have a group that will occupy all 5 rooms in the Villa and have it to yourself.

Complimentary Wi-Fi access is provided. The most positive impression was definitely made by the owners of Morning Star and all the staff - wonderful people! Very good breakfasts, comfortable rooms, large bathroom. In the evening you can sit on the chairs outside and watch the fireflies. The location allows you to commune with nature - monkeys, squirrels, peacocks and even monitor lizards come to visit!
