The hotel is right on front of one of the most beautiful beaches in Mexico. The staff was really friendly and it was extremely easy to communicate with them via WhatsApp. We were able to order everything we needed at it was brought to us in no time. The lounge chairs at the beach were included in the price of the room.

Offering direct access to Playa Norte Beach, on the beautiful island of Holbox, Holbox by Xaloc features luxurious rooms and bungalows with terraces. The overall experience is well worth it. I think they fit more into the category of a very good inn than a hotel, but that wasn't a problem. The location is one of the strong points, right on the beachfront and very close to downtown Holbox. The beach in front of the hotel is clean, free of rocks and seaweed, so you can enjoy the sea right in front of the hotel. The room is large and comfortable, although a small investment in some amenities could improve the experience inside. We stayed in the apartment, but there are also bungalows. The hotel has two swimming pools: one for adults only, in front of the beach and with a bar, and one at the back of the property, which is for families. We didn't use the adult pool with the bar, only the children's pool. The only downside is that there are few chairs and loungers. And if you stay in a bungalow near the family pool, you'll hear children playing all day. Breakfast is a huge plus; you can choose from a variety of dishes, from Mexican favorites to more traditional options like eggs and fruit. The portions are generous, so if you're traveling with your family, you can mix and match and everyone can have a little bit of everything. Tahamara, the staff member, was very attentive.

This was easily the BEST service that we have ever had in our lives of traveling. The whole team at Carocal are so welcoming, friendly and helpful from the very moment you arrive until the moment you leave. If you’re sitting out on the beach sun lounges for sunset, staff bring you glasses of champagne to enjoy while you watch it go down. Every single night, someone brings a new mini dessert to your room and if you’re not there, they leave it in your bar fridge for you so it’s always so nice to come home to! We were even offered a cheese platter and bottle of wine to enjoy on our last night there but we were out in town so missed it - but the thought was very kind and we really appreciated it! Special shout out to Angel who remembered our preferences for breakfast every morning.

Carefully decorated and well equipped room. Drinking water baloon, coffee and beach towels highly appreciated. Calm and quiet. Staff smiley and efficient, communication flawless. Good wifi reaching the beach area.

This family-run hotel is located in front of the beach on the beautiful Holbox Island, just off Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula. It offers an outdoor pool, hot tub and stylish hut-style rooms. Absolutely everything!!! Hotel and all the stuff is absolutely amazing!!!! The best on the island!!!!!!!

This secluded guest house is located outside the village of Tulum, only a short cab ride of the beach. The property is surrounded by tropical gardens. a real gem of a place beautiful clean pool..breakfast was good but a little too much the same each day..the owner and staff very friendly and helpful..this place is like home with dogs cats bees and chickens..the best part for me was there was ample hot water for my must have showers

The location was amazing, really quite and can enjoy the (private) Beach. We have enjoyed it that much and extended one more Day. The staff are friendly and attentive, plus the breakfast was very good.

This design hotel is located 5 minutes’ walk from North Beach. It offers an infinity pool with panoramic sea views and stylish suites with free Wi-Fi . Contemporary rooms at Hotel Secreto are... Beautiful location and very friendly staff! Great view of the pool and ocean. Nice having a not crowded beach in front of the hotel but a very short walk over to North Beach. Beds and pillows were super comfy.
