This is an absolute gem - the guesthouse is a historic converted warehouse with oodles of charm and a real sense of history. My ground floor room was really spacious, and had a lovely kitchen space and a view of a courtyard garden. The breakfast was fantastic - a lovely tray delivered to the room, with a choice of cheeses, breads, fruit, yoghurt, muesli etc etc. A lovely welcome from the owner as well.

The hotel was so pretty and decor was elegant and clean. Location couldn’t have been better on the Market square. The staff were exceptional and went out of their way in helping us with a crisis situation while we were there.

Groningen is not only a lively student city but also a beautiful city to visit. We saw some not good views and were doubtful. But, we loved this hotel. It is old-styled, has big rooms, and jacuzzi which was working. It wasn’t hot because of the rain. The hotel is located in the city center, there are a lot of coffee shops and restaurants. The room was clean, had couple chairs and sofas, comfortable and soft bed, a lot of pillows. Also wifi was working good. We enjoyed it.
