Renovated good sized rooms and bathrooms - well thought out in their lay outs. Fantastic view from the patio and the window of the room we stayed in. One of the best breakfasts I have had in a long time. Very helpful and friendly staff. I wanted to extend my stay for a night but they were booked out.

The brightly decorated studio apartments tell you the ancient history of the building. The rooms come with views of the Atlantic Ocean from French balconies. Kristiansund town center is 10km away. The Atlantic Ocean Road is 25km away. Such a beautiful little hotel with the most lovely staff. We stayed in the Studio Apartment with Sea View and WOW! The view was absolutely breathtaking! We also had dinner at the hotel and it ended up being one of the best meals we had during our time in Norway. I did notice a few reviews mention the steep stairs, but honestly, that’s just part of the charm when staying in a historic building in Europe. It didn’t bother us at all and added to the authentic feel of the place.

Some are housed in traditional buildings dating back to the 18th and 19th centuries. Fantastic place with lots of history. Stayed in 300 year old room. Very good food in restaurant. Klippfisk was absolutely superb. Breakfast was very good with many choices hot and cold. Highly recommend to stay at this place if you travel the Atlanterhavsroad.

Havila Hotel Geiranger’s history dates back to the 1860s. Some rooms offer views of Geiranger Fjord. The room was very clean, the view to the fjors was amazing. The first image in the morning was with the beautiful cloudy mountains and amazing fjord, like in a fairytale. The bed is very comfortable, just perfect. The breakfast was very diversified, best ever. I recommend this hotel!!

Vast buffet breakfast, it would probably take a month's stay to try every item! Good view out to the harbour. We had dinner in the hotel which was super, really appreciated the chef making up a vegetarian starter as there was none on the menu.
