All rooms at Hotel Grand Bodø feature wooden floors. Each room is equipped with a work desk, seating area and satellite TV. The hotel was close to the train station and the city centre. Staff was exceptionally friendly. Breakfast and dinner included in the price were good. We also enjoy the afternoon Fika. Our room was quiet and of a good size. We highly recommend the hotel.

The classic red fisherman cottages feature a private kitchen facilities, private bathrooms and outdoor furniture. We needed to find a place to stay last minute during our trip to the Lofoten Islands. Booking was easy and The Tide did not disappoint! We left our lodging early because the accommodations were less than we were comfortable with and The Tide turned the trip around! The waterfront cabin was the typical Lofoten fishermen’s cabin, picturesque, clean and had everything you could want/need. The main building was an added bonus as we had a great dinner and the staff was incredibly warm and welcoming. Even better we were able to catch the Northern Lights right from our cabin! Our only regret was not booking The Tide from the start.

A flat-screen TV with cable channels, as well as a private bathroom with a shower are provided in each Opsahl Gjestegaard room. Edith Piaf and Roald Amundsen are a few of the individuals that inspired room décor. Beautiful building outside and inside ! Personnel really Nice and helping.
