The food was nice. Quite a nice open buffet type of dinner and breakfast. The hotel offers you a packed lunch for a certain price and you can fill your bottle for coffee (for a certain price).
The staff was very friendly. Always smiling and willing to help you all the time.
The hotel location is quite good as well. There are nice places you can visit by foot. The hotel staff gives you a booklet you should check after you settle in your room. There are suggestions of places where you should visit including the routes and nice places to visit.

Everyday when I wake up, I can see the fjord from the room. It’s amazing. The restaurant serves good food but choice is not too much. But it’s not a big deal.

The stylish bathrooms include a bathtub or shower, toilets and free bath products. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel. The hotel is situated in a tiny picturesque village from the late 19th century by the Luster fjord, overlooking a fantastic view. It has Norway’s best breakfast with everything you may wish, and fantastic service. For extra luxury, enjoy a wonderful 4-course dinner prepared by some of our best chefs, followed by a drink and coffee in the garden. We stayed in one of the modern rooms, which has plenty of space and a nice porch on the lawn to enjoy the morning sun. This is a must see for everyone who just want to relax and enjoy the beautiful landscape. It’s not cheap, but it’s with it.

Guests can also enjoy free WiFi. We stayed in a fisherman's hut, right on the water. It was gorgeous. We even got lucky and were able to see the northern lights over the fjord from our little porch. Myrdal
At the head of the famous Flåm Railway in Myrdal, this hotel is only accessible by train and sits high above Aurlandsfjord. It is not located very close to Myrdal station, it's located 1,5 km from Myrdal. It's not possible to walk to the hotel wintertime due to the snow conditions. We recommend to take the train one stop down from Myrdal to Vatnahalsen station. Important to check the timetable for the trains. It takes 30 minutes to walk summertime. It's NOT possble to drive by car to Vatnahalsen hotel. Beautiful setting , beautiful old hotel with nice staff. The breakfast was above and beyond.

It has a stylish interior. The colour combinations and furniture show explicit edged taste. This is the hotel with best interior design. Wow.
What a beautiful and unusual place! The house is stunning and beautifully set out. The staff were so friendly and kind and we absolutely loved our stay. The view from the shared balcony is out of this world. The shared kitchen is lovely. So many places to sit, relax and enjoy the view. We had one luxury stay (not a hostel!) in Norway and we're so glad that this is where we chose to have it.
Amazing location, cannot fault how close it is to everything. Very lovely rooms and designs. Slightly dated but it suits the vibe and feels very authentic. The staff are reserved but very professional and friendly.
We were most cordially welcomed by our host Mara and she gave us a little tour where to find everything, even though it was already very late. The interior design of our room was lovely, the bed was comfortable, and the view in the morning was breathtaking. There is a fully equipped shared kitchen which everybody can use, including the fridge, where you can put your food which needs cooling.
Beautifully interior designed and well equipped chalet in quiet (in late August) area with far reaching views. We were in the first floor chalet and the X Box and the sauna were a bonus. Good base for exploring the surrounding area for a couple of days. There are no amenities nearby, which wasn’t a problem for us but may not suit others. There is a bike trail from the ski centre but unfortunately nowhere to hire bikes in late August - imagine it is a much active area earlier in the Summer.
The views are stunning and the apartment looks modern and well designed, but…
