Situated in central Tromsø, 150 metres from the main street, Storgata, Enter Amalie Hotel offers free WiFi internet access and free coffee, tea, cake and cookies. All rooms include cable TV and tea/coffee making facilities. Prime location. Breakfast was really good. Coffee, light snacks and waffles available in the dining area for free. Staff was courteous, polite and helpful. Room was not that spacious but comfortable enough and clean. Bus stop was right in front of the property. Some reviews were about loud and annoying seagulls, we thankfully didn't experience anything like that.

This 3-star hotel offers a 24-hour front desk and a tour desk. Private parking is available on site. We stayed 12/14 for four nights. The staff were lovely all of them. One lady in particular was kind even though extremely busy to make the waffle batter for her guests. She spoke Norwegian back to us when we attempted a few phrases and they were extremely kind, helpful, and provided advice on transportation, stores, shops, etc.
