Just 5 minutes’ walk from Turangi town centre, Creel Lodge is a 4.5-star Qualmark rated motel offering self-contained suites with a private patio and BBQ facilities. Nice location and beautiful rooms. Only stayed for one night but enjoyed the walk nearby and used their kitchen facilities to cook a nice steak dinner.

Le Reef Resort Motel propose des hébergements indépendants sur les rives du lac Taupo. Il possède une piscine d'eau douce extérieure chauffée et une piscine thermale avec bain à remous. Chambre spacieuse et confortable, possibilité de bain à bulles, accès direct à la balade autour du lac, parking aisé la vue est un peu partielle mais au 1er étage on voit le lac (notre cas), kitchenette et matériel de cuisine simple. L’établissement Whakaipo Lodge vous accueille à 38 km de ce lieu d’intérêt : Grotte et parc thermal d'Orakei Korako. The location was 10 minute drive from the centre of Taupo, breakfast was excellent. Angie and Garth were incredibly friendly giving us help with places to eat and all around the local area. Despite the cold weather in New Zealand for summer we had a fire in the lodge to keep us warm.

Everything in this property was clean & we had room service every morning for the last 4 days we have stayed here. The receptionist man is very helpful too we are on our last day here & he has made our stay here an awesome one he helped us from the start up until our last day which was meant to be today but we enjoyed it so we added one more night because of their services and how helpful and clean they are, we also got the first room to the right so the view looking at the beach in the morning when the sunrise is up until it sets was one of my highlights and it's just close to all the shops and walking distance too. I will recommend this place to anyone looking for somewhere to stay visiting Taupo, definitely wont be my last time here i'll be back for sure with the rest of my family one day.

What a pleasure it was to stay at The Cove. The manager could not have been more accommodating, simply excellent service. The room was lovely, well appointed. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Le Taupo DeBretts Spa Resort se trouve à seulement 800 mètres du lac de cratère du volcan Taupo. The room was large and comfortable with a lovely private deck backing onto a green space. The bathroom was well lit and spacious. The bed super comfy. Everything was clean and there was lots of storage space. The proximity to the hot pools and the discount for entry was great. The staff were awesome - friendly, helpful, attentive, welcoming.
