Warm welcome and peaceful atmosphere made us fall in love with this place and its residents (birds, cats, dogs, peacocks, horses etc :). The property is absolutely stunning—surrounded by nature, it offers the perfect retreat to unwind and recharge. Villa is spacious, and beautifully designed. Terrace for morning coffee with sunrise view, and terrace with beautiful sunset ocean view was a favorite spot to relax and take in the serene surroundings. Breakfast —fresh, local, and delicious, some croissants, pastry, buns, cheese and meet platter, jam, and coffee capsules. Breakfast is delivered a preacreed time. Herdade Monte Do Sol is located in the rural area, you would definitely need a car to go exploring the beaches, hiking trails, or charming local villages. We will definitely be back again—this place is a gem!

This a fantastic small family run hotel. We liked the warm welcome and the friendliness of the owner Dona Idalia and her staff. Everything was clean and tidy and we felt right at home. The breakfast was delicious and overall we had a great time.

The guest rooms of Mareta View - Boutique Bed & Breakfast have a turquoise colour scheme and include 24-hour room service. They are equipped with a flat-screen TV and air conditioning. Rooms are accessible via stairs only. Very convenient location for walking to beaches and restaurants. We stayed in the economy room with bunk beds, which was spacious enough and had its own ensuite bathroom. The room was comfortable and very clean, the common areas (both indoor and outdoors) were a bonus. The breakfast is worth all of the hype, as mentioned in previous reviews. Definitely the best breakfast I’ve had included with accommodation after two weeks in Portugal.
