The Casa’s rooms all feature stylish, modern furnishing and mood lighting. Each room is equipped with air conditioning and a TV, as well as a private en suite bathroom. Free in-room Wi-Fi is available. Everything was excellent. The friendly staff, the fantastic dinner where you meet people from all over the world. Lot's of top class local food and almost "unlimited" wine supply from the house was included in the dinner package that you should not miss. Superb! The pool area was very nice and relaxing. You could also take long walks in the wine yards with fantastic views over the Douro valley. The room was very nice. Fantastic old style but gently renovated.

The property has pool and garden views, and is 29 km from Our Lady of Remedies Sanctuary. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. This property was above all expectations. The staff is kind and friendly, it’s small ( I think 6-8 rooms) so not overcrowded. They prepare meals on site. It was absolutely charming and the « slow life » needed for this holiday! Highly recommend! 5 *****

Very relaxing place, a lovely pool, comfortable room, a good breakfast, some friendly cats.

Featuring pool with a view and views of mountain, Casa do Romezal is a guest house situated in a historic building in Peso da Régua, 6.5 km from Douro Museum. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. We recently spent a few days at this beautiful, family-run guesthouse in the Douro Valley and it was everything we had hoped for – a real escape from the city to the quiet, peaceful countryside. Surrounded by stunning views and gorgeous pools, it was the perfect spot to unwind. There’s not much to do in the evenings other than head into the nearby town for dinner, which suited us perfectly – we were after some proper downtime. Breakfast was a real highlight each morning – fresh, local, and prepared by the host herself. We stayed in the renovated old building rather than one of the newer, modern units by the infinity pool, and we’re so glad we did. The apartment was absolutely gorgeous – spacious, full of charm and character, with a lovely big bath as the centrepiece and refreshing aircon throughout. It really felt like our own private retreat. The guesthouse itself is separate from the family home and feels more like a self-contained house, complete with a beautifully decorated sitting room, a breakfast room, and a huge terrace where we enjoyed our breakfast each morning. One of the highlights of the stay was the tour of the family vineyard, led by the host’s brother. It was clear he was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about winemaking – a lovely, personal touch that made our stay feel even more special. All in all, a very personal and peaceful experience in the heart of the Douro. We’d happily return.

Set in the convergence of the Douro and Tedo rivers, provides unique and stunning landscapes. Our guests are offered a special wine tasting – available every day at 18:00 (from 23rd March to 10th November) or 16:00 (from 11 th November to 22nd March). This is my second time staying at Quinta do Tedo... it's wonderful in every sense. You can't go wrong staying here! Wine tasting and a tour is included in your stay. It's got a lovely view from the pool, kayaks, bikes, and a tasty restaurant on site. The breakfast is delicious and it has nice views over the river! It's a small place you're going to love to tell your friends and family about back home. With only a handful of rooms, you feel super special staying here as well.
