The highlight of the stay is the evening meal, complete with reception, then communal dining with multi-course homemade cuisine and his estate wine. The meal was akin to a United Nations social, with Miguel happily chatting (in multiple languages) with the guests as he worked. One of the highlights of our trip to the Douro Valley.

This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. Excellent communication and a very friendly host. She made us feel right at home, from the second that we arrived up till the moment we left. Magnificent views both from the room and pool area. The pool is well kept and is never too busy. The breakfast has all you need with a variety of breakfast foods. Everything is fresh and tasty and the host even made us scrambled eggs to accompany the buffet food. Also highly recommend the onsite wine tour of the GUEDA winery. Margarida’s brother is very knowledgable about the wines and he gives the tour himself.

This was the best location with great views. The food was wonderful and the hosts went out of their way to make our stay memorable.

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at! so incredibly beautiful, welcoming and kind! staff were so sweet and the food is delicious!!

The balconies of the rooms feature views of the town and the large windows let in plenty of natural light. Each room has a seating area with wooden floor and a flat-screen TV. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout. The hotel exceeded our expectations. We had requested a room with two beds but changed to one bed and the room was large, very comfortable and with a balcony. Breakfast was ample with many delicious homemade products. The friendliness and helpfulness of everyone at this family run establishment cannot be overstated. We hope to return.
