The staff is friendly and very helpful, especially Tim Smith at the front desk. There is a lovely buffet available for lunches and brunches; one needs 2-3 stomachs to try everything. The hotel boasts a pool and a garden that you can sit in to read your paper. What will strike you when you first enter is the lovely scent, which was especially designed for it. The hotel is definitely value for money, and better than most 4-star hotels in New York.

Just a 5-minute walk from The Alamo, this pet-friendly hotel is in central San Antonio. It features an indoor pool, daily continental breakfast and a snack bar. Guest rooms offer fully equipped kitchenettes. The location of the hotel is great, very close to the riverwalk and the coolest restaurants and bakeries. It is on a noisy and busy street, but when you are in the room you can not hear the noise. We were placed on the 11th floor, in a room with a view of the Majestic. Huge spacious, clean mini-apartment, with a kitchen and a large work area. Large and comfortable bed. This room was cheaper than rooms in other nearby hotels where we stayed earlier this year. And this room is much cleaner and more spacious than all the others. Free breakfast included - freshly baked waffles, croissants, bagels, oatmeal, sausage, eggs, juices, coffee and tea. Very nice staff. The only downside, which was not significant for me, but may be important for someone else, is that only one elevator works, and in the morning, during breakfast, there are queues, and people from the middle floors can wait 15-20 minutes to go down. It's not a problem for me to go up the stairs, even to the 11th floor, and even after breakfast haha.
