Merchant hotel has a strategic location - all main attractions, restaurants and shops are within walking distance. The hotel itself offers nice and big rooms, super fast wifi, it is clean and cosy with extra amenities (slippers, cosmetics etc.). There are coffee and tea facilities along with free bottles of water. Bed was very comfortable. Transport can be arranged to and from the airport. The staff was very responsive and helpful. Breakfast was good although selection could have been better.

The location is amazing all the famous places near by can explore by walk and save the money... The hostel situated at very peaceful place. Value to money The host Mr Rasool was so helpful.. This was not my first stay at the Art Club Hotel. My fist impression in Dec 2021 about this Boutique Hotel in the Old city of Baku was very positive. And every time when I am back to Baku and it’s a pleasure to stay in Art Club. What are the advantages of this venue to me: - only 20-25 min way to the airport; - perfect location in the Old city: everything in Baku like museums, malls, points of attraction, art galleries and ATM and etc are very accessible from there; - price: there are always nice offers on booking.com if the reservation is made in advance; - quiet location: there are only 11 rooms in two separate parts of the hotel, therefore a very quiet and relaxed atmosphere; - spacious rooms are well equipped. this time I was lucky to stay in a suite with a terrace - large room, great view and nice rate on booking); - service is very good: the room and bathroom were clean and the terrace as well; the reception lady and the staff are always ready to support; - the authentic interiors of the hotel and every room create a striking and memorable atmosphere. It feels like being in a living museum where you can enjoy the history, culture and traditions of Azerbaijan; - restaurant Art Club on the ground-floor is one of the best in Baku and the breakfast there is just awesome😀

The hotel is very well located: walking distance to the old city with all its attractions, Caspian sea promenade, the cable car station to ride up to the Highland Park and a metro station while being in a pretty quiet street. The staff was amazing!! They were extremely friendly and responsive, and even let us have a late check out at the day of departure (thank you again!) There is always somebody on the reception should you have any issues and all our questions were answered. The room was reasonably sized, clean and well equipped.
