One of the most charming hotels we have ever stayed at. The area is tranquil, no noise. The design is based on chocolate and they even have a chocolate fountain in the receptcion, my daughters loved it (and the parent too!). The staff were really nice. There is a supermarket, shops and restaurants around the hotel and it is near the old town.

The Hotel Continental was originally built for the 1964 Swiss National Exhibition in Lausanne and was recently refurbished, modernized and enlarged.

The location is amazing . It was in the middle of everything . The staff are friendly and helpful. My room was clean and enough (with respect to size) for one adult. There was a Dyson fancy fan in the room since the weather was a bit warm. In brief, This hotel made my trip just amazing in Lausanne.

Room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast had a wide variety of food. Location was near the train and metro station. Town centre was a good 15 minute walk but you could use the metro instead. Free travel card for Lausanne was provided which was brilliant.
