I had an extraordinary stay at the Holiday Inn Express Beijing Dongzhimen. The cleaning is impeccable. Amazing breakfast, everything is fresh.. Free coffee at the lobby. Just love the smiling apples at the exit of the elevator. They brightened my day. Great amenities kit. Every day there was mineral water in my room. My congratulations to the hotel staff. They helped me in many different ways, whether it was calling a taxi, information about the city, where to buy tickets or booking attractions. Special thanks to the night valet who helped me resolve differences with taxi drivers.

Besides the spacious and clean rooms, great facilities such as pool and restaurants, I should specifically mention the generous staff gestures: free chocolate gift, or free cup of americano. The location of the hotel is the most appropriate for one who is visiting Beijing for cultural attractions: the subway is just downstairs of the hotel, and you can easily find a taxi outside.

We had a fantastic stay — it was flawless from the moment we made the booking, to after we checked out. Ahead of our stay, they made a booking for a restaurant on my behalf, and even rang me from abroad to discuss the best time to do up some decorations for the room as we were celebrating my boyfriend’s birthday and I wanted to surprise him. We were delighted to step into the room that evening with fresh flowers, balloons, and a neon “Happy Birthday” sign greeting us. Throughout our stay, the front desk, reservations team, concierge, and housekeeping team were so helpful, responding to all our messages swiftly and delivering service with utmost professionalism. The level of thoughtfulness, attention to detail, and overall service we experienced was truly unparalleled. The room was always spotless and we felt so comfortable staying there. Housekeeping also wrote us notes to inform us that they had rearranged my makeup on the counter so I could access it more easily (but that if I didn’t like it they wouldn’t touch it again), and that they had retrieved from the bin and set aside a box of (expired) medication just in case we had thrown it out by accident. We even came back one evening to find that they had cleaned our boots even though we hadn’t requested for a shoe shine service! Amazing location, and the facilities and amenities were great as well — we particularly enjoyed our 90min massage treatments at the hoteli spa, which deserves another 10/10 review altogether. Shoutout to Jenny from the reservations team, who made sure we were going to be well taken care of prior to us even setting foot in the country. Shoutout to front desk staff Nora too, who checked us in and out, and was so lovely, friendly, and warm — all smiles, eager to help, and even sent us off with a bath bomb as a little parting gift!

Design, quality, comfort, location. This is the best hotel in Beijing. They allowed a late checkout without any additional fees. Huge gym equipped with technogym.

I love this place and location

Amazing apartment, clean, bright and in perfect location. Great city view from the big windows; apartment equiped with everything. And mosto of all miss Lili welcomes the guest with extreme kindness. The apartment is just few minutes walk from restaurants, bars and shopping mall. Highly recommended. Best apartment for short and long term bookings.

We stayed at Beijing Tangfu Sanlitun Boutique Hotel for just one day during our trip to Beijing, and honestly, it was a great choice! The room was super clean and cozy — exactly what we needed after a long day of exploring the city. The location is perfect! One of the highlights was definitely the breakfast — it was way better than we expected! A really nice variety and everything was fresh and tasty. We didn’t get a chance to check out the gym since our stay was so short, but it’s great that the hotel offers that as well. All in all, a very pleasant experience. Would totally stay here again next time we're in Beijing!
