It was a great location in the city and still close to the colonial zone. The apartment was good with all the amenities needed. The view is just as unobstructed as it is in the pictures. I parked my car there during the nights i stayed there, and it was completely fine. As a solo traveler, i felt safe in the building, most importantly.

Everything about this hotel was excellent and amazing. Really nothing to complain about. The staff were so friendly, courteous and exemplary. As a very frequent traveller I wish I could get this perfect service everywhere I go but unfortunately I don't. Really exceptional service and atmosphere at the Catalonia. The view from the room was certainly fantastic. The complimentary welcome cocktail and complimentary espresso the other morning was more than I ever expected. The breakfast is the perfect start to the day: all-you-can-eat healthy food served, fresh and delicious local fruits with unbeatable taste. I rate the Catalonia as the best stay in Santo Domingo.

The people working here are the nicest!!!! I have enjoyed my stay so much I extended it. The location is probably the best of the best in the city, next to a beautiful little park, and the bedrooms are extremely comfortable.

Specious, light, well equipped apartment with extraordinary views. Air condition works great in the bedroom. Bed is comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped. Towels are cotton with good absorbance. House cleaning does a great job each day. Staff are super helpful and friendly. Near to some good restaurants and at walking distance to Colonial Zone.

My stay was exceptional. The rooms are upscale and elegantly appointed. The hotel is apparently in a soft opening and the staff is genuinely friendly and attentive, making you feel at home from the moment you arrive. The rooms offer spectacular views that take your breath away. And the breakfast... without question, the best I have ever experienced in my life. A truly memorable stay.
