It is a fairy tale accommodation (including a prince-like host). Seriously, this is one of the most beautiful, romantic, cozy and picturesque accommodation in the French Alps. The view to the Mont Blanc from the atmospheric wooden rooms are marvelous. We arrived late and Philippe welcomed us so warmly, treated us to French cheese and a glass of red wine. The Eden Hotel is special. The common areas are beautiful and the staff is very friendly. They have space for both inside and outside dining as well as an outside pool table and ping pong table. There’s even a small sandbox for the kids. Our room had a balcony with a view of Mont Blanc. The view doesn’t get any better! If we come to Chamonix again, we will definitely stay at the Eden Hotel.
