Very nice hotel close to the train station. The lobby is beautiful! The gym is excellent. Very large room and nice shower. Friendly staff. I liked everything about this place.

The beds were like sleeping on a cloud. I'm not kidding. Got a great night's sleep every night. The location was close to everything. A bit of rowdy noise from the streets on the weekend but it didn't bother us. Great space for family members to hang out and watch tv or eat. We didnt use the kitchen but it was very well appointed. Shower was hotvand had good water pressure. Carmen at reception gave us EXCELLENT directions from the airport and registered our rental car with CCTV so we could use the bus lane to enter the garage. If you are using GPS, put in Mercury George Hotel as your destination which takes you to the proper end of Kings Rd and then make a left at the Prezzo Italian restaurant, another left past Premier Suites on Minster Ct and a right into car park. Hard to reach the key pad to enter code so you or a passenger will have to exit car to do it.

This charming studio is located in Reading central, about 8 minutes to the train station, 3 minutes from the Oracle shopping center, and has a bus stop right on the corner of Duke street. I was able to get everything I needed within walking distance. The kitchen has everything one needs for a decent length of stay. There is a washing machine and iron, hair dryer, tower fan, and wonderful television. The bed was comfy and had so many pillows! Lots of room for storing your clothes and belongings and a luxurious waterfall shower. The set up is adorable- there are a few steps down to the kitchenette, so if mobility is an issue you may not tolerate it well. Overall I would absolutely recommend this spot to a single traveler or a couple that doesn’t mind being close. I felt safe at all times and wasn’t at all worried about my belonging as the entry to the building is remote/keyless with a keyed door entry and deadbolt lock. Wonderful experience!!!!
