From our very first contact, George was an exceptional host. He was responsive and helpful. He organised great trips, all at good prices. The hotel is extraordinary, owned by an antiques dealer, with every room unique. His massive showrooms are attached to the hotel, so, if that is your thing, you will be in heaven. We had three rooms and each were special. While full of antiques, there was still modern features like Japanese style electric toilet seats. The food was lovely and, unlike many places in the area, you could grab a cold beer. We loved our stay and will definitely return.

Renjith and team were amazing during our entire stay, as they would go above and beyond to ensure every single need is taken care of, and they would never say no :) They were all extremely nice and helpful, especially in taking care of my mother-in-law's needs since she is wheelchair-bound. A friend recommended this hotel and I would definitely recommend it to others! Lovely hotel, we loved the vibrant yellow walls and decor. The staff were lovely and helped us with everything we needed. We had a great trip to the waterfall with their driver. Great central location. We loved the afternoon tea and snacks by the poolside everyday. The food in the restaurant was really delicious and great value for money.

Oh my gooodness, where do I begin. From their beautfiul oasis of a property with every facility you could need my sister and I had an amazing staycation at the Taj Malabar. We were only there for one night, but the staff made us feel so very welcome - and I mean every single staff member we encoutered! We had fabulous food with a made-on-request item at breakfast from Chef Sunil, great service at the restaurant from Alex and Dinesh, Latheef gave us amazing information about their garden and plants, Jasmine gave us a warm welcome and a great boat tour. There was an out of this world floral arrangement at the entrance and we were given an extensive overview of how that beauty comes together. We really enjoyed our stay overall but the staff made it extra special. The room in and of itself had a great view (501) and was impeccably decorated, with a smart TV. Super comfy bed and sheets - as with all hotels in the Taj family.
