It was a great experience in King's houseboat. The houseboat was well decorated and maintained. The view was mesmerising. I must say, the hospitality received from the uncle and his son the owner's of this place is beyond expectations and I am very much thankful to them for taking effort and making our trip a better one.

This houseboat is located on the smaller and quieter Nigeen Lake. There are 2 bedrooms and we were lucky that we had the whole boat to ourselves for 5 days. We ate most of our meals on the boat and they were really tasty. Yusuf is a wonderful host and he was always ready to help or answer questions about the area. He makes the best Kahwa in Kashmir!

Wonderful experience - stayed in the house boat recently and had a great holiday. Scenic location on the Dal Lake with easy access by boat from the mainland. The house boat is kept in a good condition, clean room and ensuite. The hosts have assisted with my day trip queries and suggested places to visit. Home cooked meals can be arranged with the host. Has been a memorable holiday.

I had two very nice stays at Ilham‘s guesthouse. He is a very helpful and attentive host and always willing to give support if needed. The room was spacious and comfortable. The location is very central, but at the same time quiet. All major sights are just a short rickshaw ride away. I would definitely stay there again.
