Very hospitable hosts, you feel truly welcome. On New Year's Eve we received a pleasant holiday surprise from the owners. The rooms are cozy (I especially liked the abundance of wonderful paintings). The location is very convenient, especially for those arriving by public transport from the airport.

Staff was very nice and welcoming ! Made efforts to speak french and accommodate us in the best way. The boat tour we did with them (they have a partnership with a company) was great and they were very attentive even when we stayed just one night ! Thanks again !

The building was lovely and reflective of Venetian life. The room was spacious (with a ceiling height that seemed to go on forever!), its decor fit the space, the bathroom was well-outfitted, a roomy armoire served as the closet. The living room was lovely with a round table in the centre of the room to sit and read or write, a well-stocked bookcase, and a balcony overlooking the narrow street. Classical or jazz music played very softly and discreetly in the public areas. We felt very much at home and it was a pleasure to return at the end of each long day out sightseeing. Breakfast was served at a charming nearby pasticcceria because of Covid, but coffee, tea and breakfast makings were available for self service in the kitchen. The location was perfect, steps from a vapporetto stop on Line 1, yet quiet and residential. Our host Andreas provided us with daily suggestions according to our interests, and even made dinner reservations for us. His suggestions were always spot on. He answered our questions and shared his knowledgeable insights with good humour and patience.
