Toni the host was the the most friendly and cool dude I've met on my hostel adventures, he was great just to chat to but super helpful with advice and help with info about kyoto! The area is quiet which is nice and also close to everything you need.

This is a great place to stay for when you want to have your own private quiet space (and a bit more space than a typical hotel room), but still want to be cared for by hotel-like staff. We landed on this place because I wanted to stay in a typical Ryokan, but my husband wanted his own bathroom. It was the best stay of our Japan trip out of 3 hotels that were all far above average. It feels very secluded and private, there are around 10 apartments in total and everyone has their own entrance. There's a coin washing machine as well. There is a small breakfast buffet with really great coffee and they provide some free snacks during the day as well I believe. All in all it feels really kind and caring.

The staff make this hotel. Location is fine, rooms are nice, traditional with modern style and touches but the staff make the place. Ignore the star rating, that's down to minimal additional facilities, if you don't want/need a pool etc, you can't go wrong here.

Amazing place, amazing people, service and kindness was beyond my expectations. I slept like a baby in the comfortable bed, after a good day of walking all around Tokyo, i was also immensely happy to enjoy my own spa bath :) the view is just amazing : i could watch the sunrise directly from the room. Would definitely come back again ~~ special thanks to Narita ! A bientôt~~
