Friendly and helpful staffs, they help us receive the luggage delivered from Tokyo's hotel. The room is very spacious and comfortable, the breakfast at downstairs cafe is also very delicious. We had a pleasant stay, and we will definitely recommend it to friends and family.

This home stay is one of my favorite during the 14 days stay in Japan. I love the fact that the kitchen was so well equipped with all cooking utensils- equivalent to the ones that I am using at home. There was an english guidance on how to use all the electronics devices. Absolutely love the stay here

The room was incredible with an amazing view and the private onsen in the room overlooking the river and bridge was truly special. Everything was clean and it was very spacious, with comfortable beds and amenities.

Riverside Arashiyma was a pleasure to stay at. The rooms are big and spacious, enough for all four of us. The location was perfect right next to the train station and just a short walk to the park, and river that had the most beautifu collection off Cherry Blossoms we had seen. Wish we had stayed a few more days.

This was our most loveable stay in Japan! OYAMA is like my grandmother - she is helpful, kind, full of love and joy and is such a gem. The Guesthouse is close to the train station but a bit far away from the center of Kyoto. But for the price you will get a very comfy bed, super clean bathrooms and showers and this beautiful host.

We had a great stay with the homestay, very clean and new facility, friendly and helpful host. the location is great, perfect for exploring Arashiyama early morning to avoid the crowd. We will love to come back and stay if we have a chance.

The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff checking in were wonderful and helped us ship our bags and answered all the questions we had. The breakfast was plenty and delicious. The onsen was amazing and beautiful. We also tried the brick baths and those were very relaxing. We really enjoyed our stay here.

The owner was absolutely lovely, but be prepared with a translator app. The room was big and comfortable and good value for money. The only downside was the location…but everything else was fantastic.
