A lovely apartment, close to local transport. The owner was very friendly and helpful. They made us feel very welcome by providing water and snacks on arrival.

The personal was beyond amazing. They were extremely friendly and helpful since we arrived and cattered to all our needs. They were true professionals and showed that they care for their ryokan and its guests. Moreover, the ryokan was in perfect condition with a lovely vintage atmosphere to it. The room was finely decorated with genuine Japanese style. Truly a gem.

The personnel was really nice, they wanted to help us with everything. We couldn’t get the local bike rental app working, and we asked if there was any possibility’s for renting a bike. When we came back from our room, the two woman that worked at the check in fixed two bikes for us!

Everything was beyond perfect! It is well located, clean, spacious, tasteful and so many free treats! Plus the onsen on the top floor is beautiful! 😍

The hostel itself is lovely and perfect! It’s a traditional Japanese house and everything felt so cozy it makes me not wanna go out :) would definitely stay here again if I’m coming to Matsumoto!

The building is newly renovated, so everything was in pristine condition, and also very clean. The staff was super nice and helpful. The location is also very nice being right next to the river, neighbouring the Matsumoto old town district. Nearby, you will find a bunch of stores, restaurants, izakayas, and even a mall. Matsumoto castle is also just a few minutes' walk from here. I'm a bit sad we didn't get to stay for longer.
