The service at this property was amazing. Not only were they very friendly but they also went above and beyond in many instances where we had trouble due to heavy snow. Definitely would recommend to anyone staying in Shiga Kogen and wanting to relax.

This was excellent value for money with ski up to the door, lovely buffet breakfast with lots to choose from, cosy Onsen hot pool, a lovely fire with marshmallows to toast every night. You could hire ski gear here and our room had a lovely view down the valley. There was table tennis downstairs for the snowy days. It was also in I think the best location in Shiga Kogen Ski field. East access in either direction and bus outside. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Great hospitality. The front desk staff/ owner were excellent. They used the translator app with great success.
2 Onsens in the Hotel plus one outdoor Onsen .You can't beat that! Traditional Japanese cuisine!

The staff especially Ms Karki Smriti were really helpful. As we don't speak Japanese, she assisted us on information for the road condition of 292 route as it was snowing and we did not have snow tyres. Such a lovely hotel with a great atmosphere and the staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. The Onsen was lovely at the end of a day's skiing. The food was traditional and delicious. They also hire ski gear, including clothes, goggles and helmet.
