My favourite hostel in Mexico and one of the bests I've ever been! The place is stunning, with a mix of modern and vintage design and a beautiful garden. A lot of amenitis are free: towel, shampoo and shower gel even bicycles to borrow! (Although some of them a bit rusty) and their free breakfast is awesome,probably better than a lot of cafè. All that said, the real plus of the place is the outstanding staff, especially Alejandra, Isac and Fernando were super sweet, went above and beyond their tasks; even invite me at the beach with them and drive me to the bus stop. Can't thank them enough for their wonderful hospitality

The Hosts are Fantastic Italian couple that will provide you with well prepared information and recommendations around Tulum, their advice is very valuable! They also rent out scooter for better price than in town. Beach towels with bag in the room, Rooms interior is super cousy in Ethnical style. I recommend the bungalow type of room with terrace facing the inner garden with pool and Gamaks! Super good value for money! and Street food market next to facilities

Bardo is… unique… When arriving at night, at the front desk, we could already feel that the atmosphere was different then other places we’ve been too. At the very first step you make your way to your room, you know that you are on a journey. When passing by the pool with all those trees, plants, lights, and decorations it gets clearer why you came here. You can feel the balance and respect that has been put in between the style of the infrastructures and the nature that is surrounding it, making it a place of harmony. Once we’ve arrived at the end of the path to our room, we could only be amazed by the simplicity, authenticity and taste of decoration. We were about to live in connection with Mother Nature. The transformation starts here. Not only the hotel made us feel reconnected to nature but the themazcal made us reconnect to our true selves and we felt more alive. It’s an incredible experience that I recommend to anyone who meditates and is looking for a higher self awareness and spiritual connection. Also the staff made us feel welcomed and took great care of us at anytime and any moment! Special thanks to Jay, Fernando and Shio at the front desk, who were really helpful and devoted when ever we needed help; to Alejandro, Martin, Manual, and Martin for there smiles, positive vibes and sympathique but professional way of being; to Gloria and the massage team who are very professional and caring; to Diego and Claudia, for they’re open hearts, minds, spirits and amazing work; to the cooking staff for there delicious dishes; to the security staff, who made us feel safe; and finally to the cleaning and gardening staff that makes this places magnificent, cared, respected and always tidy. And, of course, a big thanks to all the other staffs part of Bardo that we didn’t mention and made this place possible. Thanks to you, Bardo, we found a place of harmony, beauty, spirituality and wellbeing.

its away from busy tulum beach / hotel area but only 10 mins drive. we stayed at una vida, but full access to all Bardos facilities and experiences such as yoga and the temazcal, which was out of this world experience. our shaman emilio was amazing and we are greatful for the experience we had. before even arriving to the hotel, we were contacted easily via WhatsApp to make our stay the best, incl ATV booking, transfer from airport etc. we were met by the best staff we could imagine, Jonathan, Julian and Priscila 🙏🏼❤️ Thanks to them for making our stay unforgettable. also at the breakfast we had the pleasure of being served by Alan and Leonardo who was fun and had our back every morning and drinks at the pool 🙏🏼 we are both well travelled and this is absolutely one pearl not to miss out on for couples.

Overlooking the breathtaking Caribbean Sea, every morning was a delight as we woke up to the mesmerizing view. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner on the summer veranda were exquisite experiences, made even more magical by the backdrop of Tulum sunsets. The panoramic views from the top platform of the hotel created the perfect setting for romantic evenings and rejuvenating yoga. Throughout our stay, we couldn't help but notice the dedication and cheerfulness of the staff, who treated us like family. Victor and Joel, with their infectious energy, ensured that every day started with a positive vibe☀️. Sasil and Pek, the enchanting dogs with their charming Mayan names, added an extra layer of charm to the hotel, making us feel even more at home. And special thanks to the outstanding hospitality of Marta, that’s unforgettable. And oh, the culinary delights crafted by Chef Edgar! Every meal was a revelation of fresh, natural ingredients expertly combined to create an explosion of flavors. The chef's dishes were unparalleled, leaving us enchanted and claiming the top spot among all the restaurants we visited in the area. As our last day approaches, we find ourselves savoring every second here, cherishing the memories we've created, and wishing time would slow down. Los Arrecifes has woven its way into our hearts, and we know for certain that we will return to this paradise.
