We really enjoyed our stay here. The houseboat is very clean, spacious, and comfortable - it felt as if we were visiting a friend who really wanted us to have a nice time. It was not missing any amenities and you can take real showers (not "boat showers") and even drink the tap water since it's hooked up to city water. Good location - on a quiet street lined with other houseboats, but walkable to the central station (or there's a tram close by). It was fun to walk on the street and see houseboat life. Sietske was a warm and responsive host and put a lot of effort into making our time there nice. We would definitely stay here again!

Sofie is an exceptionally friendly host! We really enjoyed our stay in this cute house boat and would do it again any time.
This design hostel Stayokay Hostel Amsterdam Oost is 3 km away from the city centre. It shares its building with a cinema and theater and is situated in a former school in the Zeeburg district.

This accommodation is expensive but very nice. I loved having a little appartment for myself. Also, the cleaning was very good which is a real exception in the Netherlands.

Liked the quirky room. Realize when you book it’s a national monument and this does not allow for standard rooms. For me this made it unique and very home like. Friendly well trained staff with a keen eye for hospitality. Location near East Amsterdam which is an fantastic area to discover .. trams leave 2 minute walk from hotel for city centre.
