I was met by my host, who was lovely and immediately put the kettle on for me while I was shown my room. The single room I booked was a good size with plenty of space to move about. As shown in the pictures it has a table chair, bed (obviously) side table with a lamp and plenty of sockets for recharging phones. There is extra bedding in the wardrobe and also plenty of coat hangers. The bed was very comfortable. There are seperate shower and toilet rooms and another room with both in the same room. these are mid way down the corridor on the ground floor opposite the rooms but not far from any one room. There is a open plan kitchen in the corridor complete with sink, fridge, mictowave, coffee maker and about 10 different teas, along with lemon, ginger, mint-you get the idea, It's very thoughtfully put together. The whole building was very clean and obviously cared for. The guest house was situated within an easy 10 minute walk of Centraal Station and a slightly shorter walk to the Tivoli Vredenburg. There is a grocery store very close and lots of really good resteraunts and cafes too. Although you are not in the old city, it's a very short walk to get to it. I will happily book here again next time I visit Utrecht.

This is by far one of the nicest hotels we’ve ever stayed in. The rooms were comfortable and extremely clean. The staff went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, always ready to prepare a coffee, which is a plus for Italians :D the breakfast was fresh and varied and the location wonderful. A very delightful stay. We will come again if back in Utrecht

One could hardly find a more romantic location - right next to a canal, maybe 40cm above the water level. There were chairs and a table (and even an umbrella) one could put out in front of the apartment by the canal (we didn't, it was a bit cool). Despite the privacy one felt there, the apartment is also extremely conveniently located - maybe a three minute walk from cathedral and tourist info. My wife said she thought the bed was the most comfortable she'd ever had.

Liked the quirky decor. Bedroom very comfortable with everything we needed. Nice atmosphere in the bar/dining room. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast and great coffee. Would definitely stay there again and recommend to others.

Very quirky guesthouse, filled with antiques and collectables (the owner is a TV antiques expert in the Netherlands). My single room was small but beautifully decorated, with a window facing the canal. It was peaceful location and I slept well. There's a local restaurant just across from the hotel, so dinner was easy. Breakfast was fruit salad, yoghurt, pastries, ham, cheese, smoked salmon, eggs and bacon - amazing. Staff were super friendly and proud of the place they worked. They have two (large) bicycles for rent and the journey into central Utrecht took about 20 mins on a bike.
