The apartment was clean and tidy and the hosts were there when I arrived and explained all the details. The apartment is on the 4th floor, so nice and quiet, and there is an elevator in the building which is rare for Oslo. It was a 5 minute walk to Ensjo metro station which gives quick access to Oslo city. There are 2 supermarkets within a 5 minute walk (including a Sunday open Rema 1000), chemist (apotek) and some cafes and restaurants. The bathroom was spacious and with a clothes washing machine and clothes drying rack. With the underfloor-heating in the bathroom, my clothes dried overnight! Super convenient. I loved the little ponds and urbanized river nearby. At night we could hear the flowing water, which is very calming. The balcony has morning sun, so lovely to enjoy a warm drink and sunshine to start the day! I am very happy with this stay. Thank you for hosting me!

We really liked everything 🙂 very kind owners, very helpful, in apartment we found everything what we needed + they left in a fridge present for us 😊 Approx. 20-30 minutes by walk to centre, port, ... if we will came back to Norway we will stay here 😊

Location is great: it is a walking distance to all major attractions. I like walking so I didn’t even bother to purchase a public transport tickets as everything was really within 20 min walk distance. For those who doesn’t like walk much the tram and bus stop just next to the hotel and the central station is 5 min away by foot. Food: breakfast is fabulous. The selection of cold and hot options, sweet and savory, barista and pancake maker at your disposal. One of the best breakfasts in the hotels I’ve had. Clean and comfortable: the room was proper. There is no carpet on the floor which is rare for hotels but it feels good to walk on wooden floor. Rituals cosmetics in bathroom is a plus as well. Bar in the lobby: good cocktails, friendly staff and nice finger food.

Scandic Helsfyr is situated in Oslo, a 4-minute walk from Helsfyr Metro Station and the airport shuttle bus. It offers modern rooms with free WiFi.
