I loved the friendly welcome, this is what I call service! The host showed us around, guided us to our room, the AC was already turned on - all very thoughtful. If you want to explore the Algarve or just stay at one place to enjoy the beach then this is your perfect stay. Located just a Uber drive of approx. 3 / 4 euro from the beach & city center of Alvor. A small calm village just north of the town. The guesthouse is recently opened after a total renovation of the original building. Everything is crispy clean and the couple who runs it make you feel at home! Awesome breakfast with baked eggs, fresh fruits, juices and a small hearty local dessert pastry. Great advice provided of what to see and where to have your dinner or a nice drink, no searching and figuring out on the internet… they got it covered and know where the good stuff is at in the local area. All in all… Visiting the Algarve? Want a calm place to end and start your day? This is the spot! Thank you for having us! We will be back!

It was a little bit of heaven ,in a lovely quiet & peaceful location.The staff were very helpful & made us all feel very welcome. A warm smile and a friendly face when you arrive and nothing was too much trouble for the staff , so Bravo to you all in Placid Village. The apartment was well equipped with everything that you need for your stay , with a high quality finish inside. We shall be back someday.

amazing host , beautiful location - couldn’t ask for more. gorgeous German shepherd as well ! only wish we stayed for longer close enough to all the tourist attractions and dining, but far enough away to feel peaceful and private.

The property of the hotel was very clean and well organised, enough Parking space . Close to the city of Alvor en Portimao. Hotel owner is very friendly and helpfull, he can recommend many restaurants or sight seeing. We highly recommend it.
