We recently had the pleasure of staying at Matisse Bucharest Old Town and I can not say enough wonderful things about our experience. From the moment we walked through the doors, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism by the incredible staff, who truly went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. The level of hospitality here is unmatched. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, attentive, and genuinely eager to ensure we had everything we needed. Special mention to the housekeeping staff who ensured our room was immaculate but mostly to the front desk team, Bogan and Alice, who welcomed us with smiles, and offered thoughtful recommendations for local attractions, updated our rooms without extra charge (just because they could) and safeguarded our luggage until we returned from a 3 days trip abroad! Their dedication to guest satisfaction was evident in every interaction. The hotel itself is beautiful, classy with modern amenities, and a cosy, inviting atmosphere, exactly at the centre of the Old Town. But what truly sets this place apart is the people. The staff made us feel like valued guests, not just a room number. They anticipated all of our needs. It’s these personal touches that make all the difference. Kindness and professionalism like Bogan's and Alice's were truly outstanding and made our stay even more enjoyable.
