We booked two nights to visit Monterey & Carmel. The photos don't do this place justice - First it looked like a small B&B and then like a motel - which it is neither - it's a great, friendly and comfortable hotel with large comfortable rooms and nice bathrooms. The breakfast is great, they have relatively cheap parking and the location is great - a few minutes walk to Cannery Row, Monterey Bay Aquarium, restaurants (we'd recommend Hulas Island Grill), and a 15 minute drive to Carmel & 17 mile drive. Would absolutely recommend this place - such great value.

We loved Monterey!
The place itself is nice, private parking, good space room, comfy beds.
The biggest advantage - location. About 20 min to the Aquarium and 20 min to restaurants the other way.
The amazing thing is that you walk to restaurant and see sea lions just chilling on the rocks..
